@FabioCapela Well, forgive me if I don't hold my breath about Africa Re Latin America, I guess we'll just have to see what happens with the Chinese debt bubble and geopolitics
1
@FabioCapela You're the go-to guy for information about Chinese EV cars in Latin America!!!
1
@FabioCapela Are you hoping the Chinese overtake the Americans / Europeans?
1
@FabioCapela Which country are you from?
1
@FabioCapela You're from Brazil, aren't you. I've been to Brazil twice and Latin America four times. I am not a supporter of US foreign policy but it is nonsense to suggest that the military dictatorships there were solely Washington's fault. I know enough middle class Brazilians and Latins to know how they view their own working classes, indigenous and blacks I've also lived in China and worked for Chinese employers for six years. So I am very familiar with how they behave once they have power over you. The Chinese will be nicey nicey while they want something "win win cooperation" blah blah. And when they have leverage over you, they will bend you over just like the US would

You only have to see how they treat their minorities to understand that. I went to China completely open minded and skeptical of Western media claims. It was when I taught Uyghur girls who'd been separated from their families aged just 12 and worked with Han colleagues who boasted about only failing minority students that I started to see how that empire works. Let's be honest: a lot of the online anti-Western army are really motivated by resentment. They know the West made the modern world and it eats them up

@taijistar9052 Well the EU is facing many internal problems so obviously it's not in its interests to lose out further There is NO morality or fairness in these things. And if the situation were reversed and it was China in this position, they would behave EXACTLY the same. Because the Chinese are one of the most ruthlessly self-interested people on planet earth

@xiphoid2011 It's not even true that China is just as capitalist as the US. China has huge state owned companies and a plethora of state-owned banks which guarantee cheap loans to the economic sectors China wants to develop. Honestly, you talk nonsense to make yourself feel better
