What I will say about the Honda (and I've had the original 2000 version) is that these generators can be sold quickly (even in non-running condition), and as long as you drain the carburetor after you use it will last a long time. Also there are so many chinese knockoffs which provides a source for cheap replacement parts. It costs more, but you'll get most of that back when you sell it.
