  1. I had to explain to someone that Russia has already won the war. They were literally bewildered. They wondered if I had secret information, or something sudden happened. I was simultaneously amused and saddened about how ill-informed people are about Ukraine.

It is not "racist" in any way shape or form to say nobody should come through except through established checkpoints. And people who don't follow that should be sent back immediately.

  9. At a family xmas gathering, some of the crazier members of the family were talking about Trump non-stop and kept saying "he needs to go to jail" I dropped a bomb when I said "You guys realize he's out of office for a couple of years now", and I laughed and ran from the room as they screeched.

  28. I want to disagree with Jimmy a bit. In the aftermath of WW2 a joint defensive pact made sense because of the hegemony of the Soviet Union. But once the Soviet Union dissolved, NATO should have been redefined or ended. When Trump tried to do that, Democrats screeched about how we're destroying NATO, at the same time Germany was investing $billions in two NORD pipelines. Trump was just asking the obvious question. Perhaps the whole point of this war is to justify the US keeping troops in most of Europe?

  33. It's working out great. My salary is up 2% Of course, food is up 30%, loans are up 300%, rent is up 150%. And since I'm a a Democrat, math is hard, so I'm pretty sure, I'm doing better by 30 + 300 + 150 - 2 = 478%. So I'm doing almost 500% better.
