  1. We'll never actually reach carbon neutrality unless we're willing to go back with an 1850's way of life, but without firewood or coal. Carbon Credits (a promise not to cut down the rainforest) are a junk.

  2.  @jevgeniardassov  I predicted EVs will have at most 7% of the total "population" of cars and will not go higher than that due to it's limited appeal and usefulness compared with gas/diesel cars.

  5. Which is why buying any of these new manufacturer's EVs it' a major risk. Do not buy an EV. If you must have one, lease one so the leasing company is stuck with a car that can't is less than useless.

  6.  @mastermnd22  It makes perfect sense. It's weird you don't understand. But no worries, I'll type slowly: If you buy a car (any car) you need to be able to reasonably sure that the manufacturer will be able to support it for at least a decade, preferably two decades. In addition, you want a second source for parts in case the manufacturer stops making parts for your particular model. But with an EV now you have to ensure they will continue to provide software updates for 1-2 decades.
