  3.  @Greatdane-qf8kd  On looking at the pros and cons, e.g. Lower Range, poor range in the cold, poor resale, not good for long trips, you're always tethered to chargers which can't be found on the thousands of miles of interstates or backroads in the US. Gas cars are proven, have long range and are extremely reliable. Oh, and cheaper. That seems pretty rationale if you're willing to be honest.

  4.  @Greatdane-qf8kd  To each their own. EVs do seem primarily a way to live outside of cities and commute in from your home. If that was my use case, I'd probably feel similarly, but I wouldn't pay more than about $25K (USD) (about €23,300) for a car like that. But even with that, I'd want another car to support long-distance drives that we do a couple times a month.
