@badchefi In the US, a typical car would use 2 gallons of gasoline, at roughly $3.25 US a gallon, so the fuel cost would be $6.50 US or just under $10 AUS

@EricSmith-qm7xb Yes, but the difference is that it only loses the investor's money. With government we all pay in various ways through increase regulation, taxes, deficits for our children, all set into motion by bureaucrats who generally exempt themselves while profiting from the bad ideas.

@EricSmith-qm7xb Well, no it doesn't work like that. The government doesn't own all your money and they allow you to keep some of it. The money is yours and mine and we allow the government to take some of it to have an orderly civil society. Increasingly the government is showing they deserve no money since they are spending it in blatantly political ways.
