@thomasdragosr.841 Imagine living in a tiny one room flat, with a hot plate, a small bed, sounds of neighbors above and below. And for recreation you have to walk 4 blocks over and get to sit in a park with 100 other people. If you remember an old show called "The Prisoner" (brilliant show), that's what the WEF envisions for all of us.

@Jacob-yb6bv I suspect Ford and GM in the US have already realized that the EV is a quick path to bankruptcy; so much so that even with the $9B+ provided by Biden is just a drop in the bucket, so that's why they've stopped making them already in favor of cars people want... Ford Broncos (it's on my list), Pickup Trucks, Mustang GTs. I'm sure GM makes some cars that people want (Corvette?) but can't really think of any.

@davidparker7920 If you can smell petrol in your car, it's a problem with the fuel system. Please get that checked so you aren't putting yourself in danger.

@RetiredPilot Seriously, buy land and live away from cities. You'll find really nice people suitably far away from you, and those kinds of people will help you out in an emergency.

@davidparker7920 "All new cars have got really expensive" It's all relative, but you can get a Honda civic for around $30K US (about 24K Pounds), seats four adults comfortably, large boot (trunk) gets about 40 MPG overall, it has a nice sound system, good zip around town and will last you 15 years with minimal maintenance. There's really nothing equivalent to that in EVs. And from a TCO viewpoint, no EV can begin to touch that.
