@jonfreeman9682 To make that claim, you had to put logic on a rack, tie it down and torture it to the point that it died. By your reasoning, there's no different between men and women at all, which means that men cannot sexually harass woman, there cannot be a preference for women in certain jobs, because they're the same. And if we continue to use your reasoning, there's no such thing as racial discrimination because it's just a difference in a few strands of DNA, and that any difference in the DNA is the fault of nature, and thus racial discrimination is all in people's heads.

@Lolspeak_brez None of those cites you provided were from the USSC, so there is no precedent to follow in this case. Nate is talking about this specific case and how Justice Thomas has opened the door to strip social media platforms of 230 protection if they act like a publisher.

@SlimThrull The ruling is much more likely to be something like: 1) If you moderate based on viewpoint, then you lose 230 protection 2) If you moderate based on adult/children friendly that will be okay 3) Moderation rules will have to be specific and readily available for anyone to review. If you don't follow your own rules, then you lose 230 protection.

Soccer is so niche in this country and in general women's sports are a niche within a niche (perhaps tennis being the sole exception), that if they all quit, no one would care. Well, perhaps the crazy sportswriters. This team is getting old. Time to turn it over to a younger generation.

Because what normal people do when a cop stop them either in a car or in person is say "officer, I have a pistol in my trunk, it's unloaded" or "Officer I have a pistol in a holters, I wanted you to be aware of it".
