  1. We are in a recession, and yes, our fake government is pretending we aren't. And with electric cars selling for twice what regular cars go for, it will get worse. Maybe that's by design? And trickling out the repo inventory protects both the bank and the borrower; if they dumped the cars, the borrowers would get screwed too because they owe the difference between the loan note and what the car fetches at auction.
