  3. Bingo. You can fund the police to whatever level you like, but if the idea is catch-and-release in the DA's office, it doesn' t mean anything.

  4. Did anyone calculate what the net tax loss to Multnomah County was? And do tax receipts for the county show a drop? Can you add a link to the article you're referring to? Also of interest is the county has a tax of 1% of any income over $125K as a "homeless tax". They didnt' cause the problem, but they're being asked to pay for it.

  5. Two things... First, in the old west, the men could actually aim. Second, Insurance is for disasters, not for the DA and police not doing their job. Of course insurance will cancel if you keep claiming every week. Sorry to say it, but Seattle shop owners need to just move to a different state. At this point your government views you as the people who need to bear the brunt of crime. If you stick around at this point, it's your own fault.
