  1. @ Well, they can't vote on an age limit because that's dictated by the constitution. It sets no maximum age. I'm not defending the status quo, just telling you the actual reason. Congress would do better with more 45 year old people with children and less 80 and 90 year old people. Blame the voters for that.

  7.  @ngoalong6003  The reason companies hire contractors is because they are cheaper in the long run. And the choice is pretty clear, go into the office or work until the end of the fiscal year and use the time to look for another job.
