EDIT: You can hear the full solo played by him here on YouTube. Look up "The Midnight Special More 1980 - 02 - Christopher Cross - Ride Like The Wind". Great appearance by Cross. Glad I stopped by again.... yeah... I always noticed that solo, but I had no idea it was Chris Cross I wonder if they dialed it back because when this album came out it was about "Smooth Rock", and those stations avoided anything that wasn't smooth. And if you haven't heard Larry Carlton in concert in a small club, you're missing something special. His backup band is amazing, and he is just at a master level every time he picks up his instrument.
