Kamala ran a terrible campaign, she blew through over $1B with the worst results for a Democrat in 40 years. And Greg, Pelosi said that she wanted an open primary, but Biden did spite the Democrat by endorsing Harris because he knew there was no way for her to beat Trump.

Has it occured to anyone that Harris was a problem for Democrats? She had no business being anything more important than dogcatcher and Democrats knew she was incompetent. Unfortunately, she called herself "black" which meant that pushing her out of the way would have ensured black democrats would not vote for any alternative. They knew she won, but now they can say "Sorry, sweetie, you had your chance and lost to Trump" (although they had no idea just how badly the public viewed Kamala). So the problem for 2028 is gone.
