  1. The law is the response to teachers who have no common sense. Common sense tells you books that discuss sexuality for children under 10 are not appropriate. Common sense tells you a book with explicit depictions of sex is not going to fly in any school. Common sense tells you that books pit one racial group against another is not going to fly in any school. So the teachers acted like children, pushing their own personal beliefs and they got treated like children. Is anyone surprised by this?
