Reporters are all angry these days because it pays nothing, gets no respect, so mostly you get women going into journalism, come out of school and find that working for a newspaper or TV pays a lot less than careers that require engineering, CompSci and other useful, productive degrees. This reporter is sure the conservative women are "stupid" and "uninformed" for their views (you can see it in their eyes), which speaks volumes about her. Meanwhile, she's in a low-paying job.
