  1. I'm trying to understand why this is a big deal. Are Democrats damaged in a way that they need an authority to reinforce their beliefs? Do they believe that Republicans will say "oh.... sure I'm voting for Kamala because the Washington Post told me to" ? Do these people complaining understand that a newspaper is a business first and last? The reason reporters don't get paid well is because every rich kid whose has a degree in English from the Ivies will work for almost nothing, because there are 1000's of these kids so salaries are low. BTW, an insider said the number of cancellations at the WaPo were not significant.
