  3. Most people think fascist means "authoritarian". It's actually a government with a central strongman who allows trusted associates to run industrial sectors giving him complete control of the economy. A fascist government tends to be authoritarian to prevent political opposition to it's rule, but it's not part of the definition of fascism. China is closer to a fascist country than a communist country.
