  1. Mary Barra exemplifies what's wrong with GM. Her entire career is one of being underqualified and out of her depth.

  2.  @gregkelmis2435  She's probably smart, but that doesn't make her a good engineer, nor does it make her a good chief executive.

  3.  @desertdan100  In 2009, GM should have been allowed to go bankrupt. They could have restructured the company to be more nimble and improve their labor costs. But the US government as a favor to the unions propped it up, and actually made it less competitive.
