  2. Ford likely did the shift to electric vehicles not because the market was demanding it, but rather because they expected the government to subsidize them. Farley should be fired for not looking after the stockholder interests rather than hoping for government subsidies to carry them through a strategy that will not be profitable for 30 years and is aimed at the 1% buyers.
