  1. That seems to be a tacit agreement that LG has a problem and they're in panic mode. They'll spend more money dealing with lawsuits rather than it would cost to just fix the problem. (and a youtuber has taken failed compressor apart; it's a cheap single part inside the compressor). Plus the loss of trust. Korean manufacturers enjoyed a stellar reputation for appliances. Until now.
