@k1n2g4 when other people say "not there", the people who make these fake reports get lowered reputation and their postings are not sent out without corroboration from people with high reputations.

waze often sends out a "runners" (people who can always beat their estimates by 10-20%) on odd routes to do this load balancing.

@gblargg Tickets are something to avoid, and you use all tools available to you. The fact that you think it's mainly to speed past a speed camera is kind of cute, and you go with that. Me, I've never gotten a speeding ticket. That's waaaay more Macho.

@grendal113 They can, but on Waze, it will be overridden by people who have a higher rating. If you keep posting fake locations and you keep getting overridden, Waze only appears to post your fake hazards.
