You should've first acknowledge the extreme low quality of WNBA basketball, even with Clark. And now that the ghetto character of the league has been exposed, it won't be a good look. At least the NBA has the sense to keep that low-key.

@annajordan243 No, the narrative is correct. Nobody is going to WNBA games to watch Kate Martin. OTOH, they are going to see Caitlin Clark. The number shows that.

The big problem is the women don't have the upper body strength to make passing a weapon. So it's like watching JV basketball where they have to dribble up and down the court.

@randman21 if that's what they actually cared about They obviously don't want to grow the sport, and they'd rather keep the sport small and complain about why nobody wants to watch them. The commissioner of the NBA is going to have to talk to the league and basically tell them that they either grow the sport by embracing change or the NBA will start winding down paying for the league.

@randman21 When you think about all the major sports.... baseball, basketball, football, hockey, they were created by men for men. And while women try to play these sports (excluding football) they have to water it down (softball) or change the rules to accommodate the tremendous physical differences between men and women.

She's not a victim, because she's making good money, I'm not a victim because I would rather watch real sports The only victims are the girls from the hood who are cutting off their collective noses because they're big angry the non-hood girl taught them how to play basketball and act in a way that draws sponsors and fans.
