  1. This principle was described in 1961 in an IBM paper Irreversibility and Heat Generation in the Computing Process . However it doesn't break the laws of physics or computing. It's simply an explanation of how Von Neumann computers work as a result of their design. Vaire Computing is claiming they'll have a prototype of a reversible computer in 2025. You'd have to be skeptical until someone shows a working computer.
