If we've learned nothing from the past 3 months it should be that you need a diversity of power supplies including nuclear, solar, windmills, and yes, oil. Renewables as shown here can never be the complete solution for the foreseeable future. In reality, you've got to accept the world will run on hydrocarbons pumped out of the ground for at least the next two decades.
