  3.  @skinnie2838  You've switched topics on me. We were talking about the Expanse. You were complaining about how bad the expanse was, and I just pointed out it was very true to the books. Back to Dune....Kynes being a woman, I don't see that as a huge change I get why they did it, but how did that impact plot or fundamentally change what the character did?

  5. The only SJW thing was replacing the planet ecologist with a woman. But that's pretty minor. In the book he has a dinner scene (a staple in books and film) where things are revealed about he nature of Dune and the Freemen, but overall the look was just beautiful, and it moved quickly. Paul is a little spindly for the role, but it works here.

  6.  @skinnie2838  They followed the books exactly, so it's a source material problem. Plus I didn't think it was run amok with Woke. And I'm very sensitive to that.
