@Vrillon676 There were no riots in Philly. There was no attacking police, there were no police cars set on fire. You're a silly as the governor who's ruined your state.

There's an entire business in keeping the homeless problem growing. There are companies that specialize in building homeless shelters, low cost housing for shelters, companies that focus on providing meals for homeless, companies that supply homeless tents (you didn't think they were going to REI did you?) That's the heart of the problem.

@travisdoe4663 The irony is the guy claiming no one understands proportions... doesn't understand proportions.

@Matt-kw3vq "Hey Gavin.... the 1930 called and they want their hairstyle back"

Another step on the way to the Detroit-ization of the entire state of California. It wasn't enough to let millions of illegals in. And it wasn't enough to pay for their healthcare, now you're going to paying for their housing. If you're hanging on thinking it will get better after Gavin Gruesome is gone, remember the voters picked him. If you're in favor of focusing on the middle class, balancing the budget, and having moderate taxes, it may never come. And go to Detroit. They say it's coming back, but that's a lie.

@smokedbeefandcheese4144 They weren't people's camps, it was private and city property.

@susansellars3869 So far, no one in this thread has called themselves a Christian.

@arthurpizza They can make it up by working on clean-up details around the state. That will also cost more money, but it will send a signal that if you come to California, sure, we'll get you clean from drugs, but we'll also make you work for it as well.

@KatCanSing Then they're living in the wrong city. If someone is paying you $15/hour but apartments are $3,000 a month, then its unsustainable. They need to re-evaluate and move to where it is sustainable for them to live. It's not the taxpayer's responsibility to support someone living anywhere they want to live.
1
@KatCanSing You know the Beverley Hillbillies loaded up the truck from Missouri and moved to Beverley hills once they found oil on their land. It might be time to reverse that journey.
1
@KatCanSing So choice is that you move or live in a tent. Seems like a really easy choice. And if they're living in a tent, they don't have anything holding there to that town anyway. If we feel like jobs are worth doing, we should be paying people enough that they can live off of doing them It's been my experience the people who advocate for such policies then complain about corporate greed when they're faced with $25 burgers, being completely unaware that the policies they advocate are the what's causing it. And then they're puzzled when business either fold or move to other cities or states.

@4NickAder Blame california for encouraging homelessness through government handouts.
1
@RogerPanetta-g9n Joetato didn't give them free medical care.... yet.
1
@Club420 There was a joke on Twitter that a certain kind of person cannot grasp per capita. It's apparently true.
1
@pysvtfa4 You can treat them as a human being all you want, but all the programs, handouts won't stop homelessness. It simply attracts more homeless. But I guess you want to virtue signal until the state runs out of money. And it's happening. The state is $222B in debt. At a certain point, the capital market will dry up and then you'll probably move to another state to advocate for the same policies, like locusts settling on a fertile field and leaving after there's nothing left. And you'll never make the connection between the policies you advocate for and cities and states turning into a first-world Haiti.
1
@anjohn1185 Club420 has no idea what "per capita" means. It appears to be an innate problem.
1
@allanhwhite.kineticmobiles So you're saying free medical care, free food, and a commitment to tent cities doesn't attract people to California?
1
@Matt-kw3vq No, spending more money than you bring in is about beliefs in unicorns and faeries. The first job of government is fiscal responsibility. If you don't do that, then you're just children pretending to be adults.
1
@arthurpizza Doing something would be putting mentally ill into asylums, and putting the drug-addled into treatment centers.
1
@Matt-kw3vq He gave you a compliment, even if he didn't mean it.
1
@allanhwhite.kineticmobiles Try to stay focused on how California's government is failing the basic task of being fiscally responsible. If you want to bring Trump into it, go to a different video.
1
@Club420 You don't understand how funny you are. And I mean that in a very positive way.
1
@allanhwhite.kineticmobiles You realize that nothing you've just typed makes no sense. The entirety of YouTube is dumber for having read it.
1
@allanhwhite.kineticmobiles Focus here Allan. We're talking about what an awful governor California has. I understand why you want to talk about Trump, because it's your security blanket, so in a way you're like that little boy Linus from Charlie Brown. But governor Gruesome has essentially bankrupted the state (you're $222B in the hole), he's driven the people who pay taxes out of the state, businesses are leaving, and even more will leave as his new taxation scheme come into existence. The cost of living is unsustainable, and criminal illegals are being used by your governor to avoid losing seats in congress. So in essence your own government in CA views you as the problem (and as a second class citizen), and favors people who are here illegally. You seem to be in a cult if that's what you support.
