  4. Do you understand that Ukraine's membership was rejected because of the corruption in the country? That hasn't changed; if anything it's gotten worse. Moreover, Zelinsky has cancelled elections, jailed the opposition, and has banned the orthodox church. So the EU wouldn't be defending a democracy. The negotiations have to start with Trump because the EU has no credibility with Russia.

  5. A lot of old thinking at Times Radio. World War II is in the rear-view mirror, but based on this interview, you'd think it was 1962. Ukraine should never be part of NATO; first of all it's too corrupt to even join the EU. Second of all the entire reason why Russia invaded Ukraine is because Biden threatened to incorporate Ukraine into NATO. Russia has historic reasons for wanting a buffer country; and if Russia were to put their troops in Mexico or Canada the US would probably react much the same way.
