@findcontinuity5860 " A cardboard box? No heating or running water? Struggling for anything basic? " You've described LA, New York, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Philadelphia, Washington DC. More tents than cardboard boxes, but same idea. Yeah.

@heavenlysonshine Slavery was the norm everywhere until roughly the 17th century

@danmaynard1383 Sorry, my rant was directed at all the people who believe slavery only existed in the US. Shockingly there are such people, and it diminishes the sacrifices of so many people who laid down their lives to do the right thing.

@johnswanson3741 They did make America great

@christopherton Compared with Mexico, yes it is.

@ireneg9742 ..Who constantly attacked other tribes for access to water and better hunting grounds.... The idea that these were peaceful people who simple worked the land and lived in peace and harmony is a myth.

@lilstewy5091 "hypocritical if you’re against immigration yet again slavery" This literally makes no sense.

@lilstewy5091 There were civilization in Eastern Europe 5,000+ years ago that were quite sophisticated who were all extremely tall. So by comparison to the people of the time, they were giants. In fact, they would be tall by modern standards.

@danmaynard1383 Yes, but by the 17th century people were already deciding it wasn't a good thing. Sentiment was against it far before 1833. If you look even at the American Constitution, slavery became compartmentalized to the south because by the late 1600's to early 1700's public opinion in the north had largely coalesced against slavery. And let's face it it was the Northern States that bled and died to get rid of slavery, with the war costing one million American lives to end the scourge of slavery. So let's stop pretending it was considered a good thing until the civil war. Public opinion of the American people was largely against slavery even before the constitution was signed, and the religious convictions of people who came here were the reason.

I also believe America is land of the land and home of the home. P.S. the two gay guys are unintentionally hilarious.

@IAMBRAIN Charge them rent. They'll scatter like cockroaches.

@christopherton Frankly I'd trade the liberals for a ham sandwich and tickets to a concert of my choice.

@lilstewy5091 We get upset because soft headed, low IQ people think it's our job to give them benefits for sneaking over the border. If they came here and made their own way for 5 years without government help, it would be a much different situation. See if you can sneak into Canada or Mexico and let us know how it goes. I'll send you a cake with a file in it. Best of luck.

@happymedium. The more you argue with her, the lower your IQ will get.

@metroidhunter965 When someone compares someone to "hitler" or "a fascist", they're letting you know they have a low IQ.
