@ColoradoMedic I suppose it depends your financial situation, but giving up your integrity for $600K says he values his reputation less than a mid-level house in the Atlanta area. I'd hope even if I was in dire straits, I'd consider my reputation priceless.

@Bruss813 She got Federal funds, and she allegedly spent the money on personal items and travel (including a Macbook). The whistleblower hasn't been named yet by the OIG, but this is a serious matter for her, as she signed an affidavit indicating it was spent on the at-risk children.

If you're asking the reason the whistleblower was fired, it's alleged it was because she brought to Ms. Fani's attention that she was spending money in a way that was not consistent with the language of the federal grant she accepted. She was later terminated by Ms. Willis.

@Bruss813 "The defense attorneys are dragging it out. " She made the case too complex because she doesn't know what she's doing. The case will never be tried because none of the attorneys have any experience doing a RICO trial. Plus, if it's shown that Wade went to the White House to confer with the Biden administration on the case, it's going to be even another black eye for the prosecution. This case is effectively over.

@cnwil4594 What you're missing is this case is so tenuous that to go after Trump with RICO is so ridiculous it won't stick, even if they got a corrupt judge and jury. But to be fair, the purpose of the prosecution really wasn't to put Trump in jail, it was to hinder his campaign. Proof that this was coordinated with the White House was that all the court cases were filed after Trump announced he would run.
