  1. Given that you can buy a new Ioniq 5 for $42K US ($57 CAD), and even considering it would presumably include installation, that's beyond outrageous. Realistically you'd expect that a replacement battery would be around $27K CAD including installation. That's far from cheap, considering that in a gas-powered economy car, you'd pay under $20K to replace the engine and transmission.
