  1. Even if it was acceptable to be on the far left of American society, a free people don't need government run radio to get their news. In the age of the internet, streaming services and podcasters, it doesn't take a billion dollars to run a group of radio stations. And if public radio stations are losing some funding, and they're really serving the local community, it's a good bet they'll all survive.
