The political class doesn't want competition to their narrative, and the people running the news networks largely agree with them.

@anacc3257 Because its a silly equivalency. Social Media is the town square. For every "false post", there are 100 posts that correct them. Where is the counter balance to when NBC gets it wrong? Do they ever come back on the air and apologize? This is about the death of mainstream media, not any sort of moral outrage.

NBC apparently doesn't like being fact checked by people on Twitter. Apparently that's what they mean by "misinformation"

There's much more misinformation on NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN and MSNBC. This report (yes speaking to you @NBC News) is the last dying gasp of an organization dedicated to keeping the narrative from the government, and their own personal views than reality.

@totalyep The fact that they ignored the obvious origins of COVID.... A Lab in Wuhan is a major one just recently. And the fact that they refused to admit masks don't work... at all, the fact that they still claim that the vaccines stop/slow the spread. And the fact that they take Fauci seriously and refuse to admit that Fauci and his team paid the lab in Wuhan to create the virus in a lab that didn't have proper protocols.

@taylorhickman84 blah blah blah. People believe in horoscopes too. They believe people didn't land on the moon. They believe that copper bracelets will heal you. But the NBC's of the world believe in myths as well because all of the news organizations mono-cultures who believe the president is a vibrant active guy who loves ice cream and there's no evidence of steep mental decline.
