  1. Canadians are cheering because they have this weird belief that masks are magic. Okay, every people have their quirks. But it's weird they don't understand these things will be turned against them next year. They are making these "temporary powers" permanent. The ability for the PM to take away your bank account with no judicial oversight or write to face your accuser. Canadians really don't have any guarantees of free speech, they have no writ of habeus corpus. They have no right to petition their leaders. I've pointed out the US is the only country in the world where free speech is guaranteed. People get upset when you say that, but Canada is proving me right, unfortunately.
