  6. Politicians, when you think about it, are probably the worst choice to lead us. Really, it's time for Congressmen & Senators to go back to being a part-time job where they legislate for 3 months in the winter, and then they have to have a real job to support themselves. They would get living expenses and that's it. No staff, nothing. And you only get to serve one term.

In supposedly "free" countries (like Canada & New Zealand), government banned weapons and then had no issue with forcing people to stay in their houses for months. "For their own good" If nothing else, Democrats have proven they cannot be trusted to respect our inherent rights, they believe they know best and will kill you if you exercise those rights.

Philosophically in our founding documents it's quite clear that rights are not granted by governments; to quote: "*[people's rights] are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.--That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed*" No doubt in the EU and Europe in general, you believe governments can do what they wish as long as the representatives were democratically elected.

The constitution is a limit on what the government can do, not a comprehensive listing of rights. Therefore, any right not mentioned in the constitution is assumed to belong to the people.
