@cynthiagonzalez537 It did quite the opposite. Trump's tax bill raised taxes on everybody making over 180K/year. It raised more money than any more tax bill in history, and swelled the coffers of states. The problem was, Congress kept spending more money. For example, giving people sitting on their *ss at home money during COVID. Now those same people are demanding they should not have to pay back their student loans because, well, they were too "slow" to understand how loans work.

@SilverBlade76 On the merits, the $1.7T bill should have been downvoted, since it didn't raise taxes across the entire population to pay for it. All it did was make inflation worse.
