@gcchair7634 The supreme court most certainly did not say the states should stand down . There was a preliminary ruling the federal government could remove the barriers (barbed wire).

@dandyandy642 Yes, it is about fentanyl and an invasion. The two matters can't reasonably be separated from the other. Thus the constitution allows the states to defend against an invasion if the fed cannot defend the states. Since the president has said that he doesn't have the authority to close the border, the administration has opened the door to the states doing it.
