@Moronoxy All asylum seekers must enter first to claim asylum Yes, but you cannot just sneak across the border. You need to go to an official US Immigration point and claim asylum. And the right way to do this is to do a "stay in mexico" until it's time for your case to come up.

@Moronoxy Economic Asylum though is not a thing. Asylum is for people who are can demonstrated they are in actual danger from their government. None of that applies to the people the Biden administration are letting in.

@zerovikings5852 Yes because they don’t come from war-zone let me educate u a bit Ukraine is not European It's part of Eastern Europe and Ukraine has never been admitted to the EU because it's too corrupt. In fact, Ukraine is mostly known at this point where the US is keeping bio-labs and where politicians launder money. I happened to be in that part of the world when the war started. Eastern Europeans are highly intelligent and culturally they fit in and learn the language of the countries they immigrate to. Culturally these people value education, learn the language quickly and they don't expect handouts from the government. They're also quite resourceful.

And citizens naturally get upset when a rogue administration is letting in millions unvetted who are a drain on system and get more free stuff than the people who live here. Unfettered immigration and a welfare state simply aren't compatible with each other. When it was tried in the EU, there was a huge uprising and governments got replaced.

Mexico won't allow you to buy a house and live there unless you can show you have $30,000 in cash so you won't become a ward of the state.

The Democrat strategy is that they're generally starting to lose voters except in solid blue cities, so the intent of opening the borders is to bring in new voters they assume will vote Democrat. The system isn't broken, the system has worked quite well, except that Biden opened the border.
