@Ricky043 They don't care about the war as such, they view it as an opportunity to pump dollars over to Ukraine who promptly sends some of it back to people in DC.

@DavidSmith-kf4ge Your dollar in 2020 is now worth 80 cents in 2023. A loaf of bread is now $4. A box of cereal is $7. The Biden administration and Fed have taken away 20% of your your earnings to cover the massive overspending in the last decade.

@peterjermey7235 It absolutely does. Inflation is a result of monetary policy, not "too many dollars chasing too few goods". The fed did something in 2021 they'd never done before... instead of selling bonds to support federal spending, they simply "created" more dollars to cover the cost of the massive spending bill. This was done at the request of the Biden administration.

@Dr_JSH How can inflation be caused by "austerity"? That makes no sense economically or even notionally. Inflation was caused by the fed creating dollars in 2021 to cover the latest spending on nothing bill passed by the government.
