Perhaps Democrats should acknowledge that the extreme rate of spending and printing of money has predictably cause a drop in the value of the dollar and has caused the cost of living to rise 20% since Biden took office. That is far more devastating to Americans than any sort of government cut. We can either accept some hardships now, or we will live in a failed state where it will be every man for himself as local governments cut funding for police and education. We're already seeing that happen in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles. They are the canaries in the mine.
