@jefferydixson527 Nonetheless Grassley's chart is important because it doesn't matter who runs the government, you're not going to get more money. And if make taxes are too high, the Democrats will be voted out en masse and the taxes all get rescinded and benefits get cut. What we've got now is what you're going to get. So the dreams of getting paid for not working, free college, and free medical care aren't going to happen.

It won't do what she claims. As i said before, most people in this country get a salary, there's almost no deductions left, so your taxes are pretty simple. The wealthy people have great attorneys lawfully pay what is due. The myth that there is this big pot of money out there for government to take from cheaters is something only the left hand side of the bell curve believes.

@alandueck210 Nova Scotia now bans unauthorized meetings. You arrest people for political reason. Your premier wears blackface. You have to wait months for cancer treatments, you may not own any gun that the government finds scary, and Canadians with money come to the US for medical care. And your taxes are sky high. Chairman Xi beams with pride when he thinks of Canada.

A "loop hole" is just a fancy way of saying "following the tax code". A "loop hole" isn't illegal, it's something the congress voted to put in place. Only people on the left hand side of the bell curve don't understand that.

@cvf628 The difference is that gas stations started to appear because they could turn a profit and so entrepreneurs stepped into to fill the gap. There's no way to make money with electric charging stations because the charging time of these cars of 30-60 minutes for a half-charge means that people would have to pay about $100 to make it economically viable to run a business like that. Worse, electric car owners seem to believe they should be able to charge for free.

@patriciawitt8174 The government didn't fund gas stations to start the auto revolution. Right now, to break even, commercial EV charging stations will have to charge about $50/30 minute charge.

@charlesrowe2149 It won't work. For most people who earn a salary, there's almost no deductions left anymore, so there's nothing to be gained from people earning under about $600K a year. And the people making significantly more than that have really great tax attorneys that can easily withstand the inquiries of the mediocre people the IRS will hire.
