@carolreyna3409 The only problem with that story is that congress and the public has seen the letters where Fauci originally tried to get DARPA to approve the COVID virus gain of function work in China, but DARPA refused to sanction it because of the risk. Fauci ignored it and did the research in China anyway. It leaked from the Chinese lab and here we are. China is desperate not to be implicated, but they screwed up. And maybe on purpose.

@carolreyna3409 Carol, Tariffs aren't paid by China, they're paid by the people in this country. Therefore, China cannot reject tariffs. There's no evidence that Trump is a racist. There's no evidence that Trump is a white supremacist. Your mind is not in sync with reality. You don't understand how tariffs work, and you reject the notion that the guy you adore, Fauci, is actually significantly responsible for COVID. The internet is not really your friend. Quite the opposite for you.

@carolreyna3409 You're just very misinformed about tariffs. Let me help you because I feel like If I make you a bit more educated in one little aspect of your misinformed life, then that will cascade to the rest. Tariffs against China work like this: 1) China ships widgets to the United States for $100 each, each subject to at 10% tariff. 2) At the port of entry, a tariff is placed on the US importer of the Chinese widgets who must pay 10% (or $10 in this case) for customs to allow the good to come into the United States 3) When sold, the US Importer (a US Company, staffed by Americans), adds the additional tariff into the purchase price so instead of selling for $100 to you or me, it now costs $110 You'll note that China does not pay the tariff, the consumers (all US citizens) pay the tariff. Now you won't believe me, but really, that's how they work.
