@KatieAubrie "First, inventories of homes and rentals on the market are not catching up to demand" Of course. Biden said landlords could not collect rent during COVID. You'd have to be stupid to buy a house to rent to people unless you're getting lots of money to cover the risk from that unlawful taking of money from landlords. They've never been made whole. And now cities are capping rent increases so you'd better raise rents while you still can. This is basic economics.

@AnyOldTopic It turns out that closing the economy and schools during covid was probably one of the biggest mistakes in history.

@Anthony-bx5yk Completely wrong. Sweden handled it properly, despite the whining of our incompetent CDC. Turns out that by not locking down and asking older people to stay at home, they not only kept their economy open, they saved more lives than the US. The US government was a disaster when it comes to COVID.
