  1. Wray has it completely wrong on how to reform the FBI. It's not checks and balances and audits and committees and reviews, it's about culture. The FBI was corrupted during the Obama administration to be a partisan organization. The Russian Collusion hoax made up by FBI agents who went through all these checks and balances, and yet it still occurred and nothing happened to the people who got caught except the equivalent of a reprimand. And even the one person in the FBI who lost their job, Peter Strozak, was because of an OIG investigation, not FBI action. A culture where these things are unacceptable is a much better safeguard of rights than committees and reviews, and clearly there is no effort to instill such values into the department. They don't even fire people when they willfully cross the line repeatedly. At this point, it may be best to start over, since the current leadership is obviously unwilling to admit fault or take the actions necessary to reform the department.
