@excederal9092 Russia will always be a large country with smart people and huge natural resources. Why make an enemy of the Russian people when we can be their friend? Putin won't be around forever. And the only reason he attacked under Obama and Biden is because they were weak leaders. Plus, there is a high likelihood that Putin will start a nuclear war if threatened with losing the war in Ukraine. Better to wait the guy out. But we have dumb people running the country right now who are basically *ssholes. Nobody likes the people in charge right now for all the obvious reasons.

@mrg7405 You need to get out of a bubble. Ukraine is a corrupt country. It's why they were never allowed to join the EU. Search for "money being laundered through Ukraine". It's not a Democracy, as you've been told. In fact, most people don't know the first thing about Ukraine.

@mrg7405 Which part isn't true anymore? Of course Ukraine is still corrupt. It is speculated that the reason Joe and company are spending so much of our borrowed money is that if Ukraine falls, Russia will release the records of exactly what money was laundered from Russia and China for American politicians.

Ukraine is a trap that our addled president and press was stupid enough to fall for and Nancy says she doesn't want to talk about inflation. So we talk about how we've given mental illness a name (transgender) and then pretend men can get pregnant.

@derineaboned6775 No doubt, but I was talking about the honest of it. It's clear what you're paying for, it's clear what you're getting. Contrast that with politics in the 21st century.
