  6. The character Galadriel is like a bad date where you have this girl who cannot stop talking, and you're trying to figure how to end the evening early without being rude. She just can't stop yapping.

By the way, "House of the Dragon" is a terrible show, not because of the way it's shoe-horning women into all the leading roles, but because nothing interesting happened at all in the entire first episode and the lines they give the actors fall like dead kippers from their mouth. As to the Powerbar of the Rings, criticizing the actors is the wrong way to go about this; as you said, acting gigs are hard to get, and plus actors of all ages say stupid stuff on social media all the time. Best to save the scorn for the writers, the producers, and the people creating the show who put these jejune actors into their roles.

Although contracts being what they are, and the film that's already in the can, we may have to wait two years for a substantive change in direction for the Medicore Trek we've been getting lately.
