The reality is they need to move on and get the bridge and ship cleared out of the bay, or else a bridge disaster will turn into an economic disaster for many people in the local area as well as supply chains to the East Coast. So while we have to respect the men who died on that bridge, there are bigger things at play here. And don't expect quick help from the federal government on the bridge; They passed that infrastructure bill almost 3 years ago and they haven' t laid a mile of road nor put in a single EV charger.
