@jcookec Wind and Solar can never provide base power needs. Because the wind does stop, generally at night. And of course, Solar only makes sense in places that are generally sunny year round.

While Trump comes across as a genial man, he's actually a hard-nosed businessman.

The reality is the US will not commit troops to Ukraine, not for any reason. And Zelensky had a chance in 2022 to escape the war and have a cease fire, but he refused. So we have two generations of Ukrainians dead as well as a similar number of Russians. All of which should make civilized people sick to their stomach regardless of how you feel about either country.

@possame2 First it's Military Industrial Complex. But more importantly, if you don't have a strong defense, there will always be country will take your land. International law is a irrelevant in the face of military might.

@williamwilson8582 So you're happy with living under Starmer. Physician, heal thyself!

A serious question. Can the truth be monstrous and insulting? Because a civilization that that rejects the truth and embraces fantasy is not a civilization that will last or even be productive. As to the Labour Leader, he is obviously based in fantasy. The War is over in Ukraine. Russia won. In fact, Russia won that war 18 months ago; the newspapers in Europe are apparently not allowed to point that out.

He's a bit of a pansy.

I only donate to charities that give something back to me... local public radio station because they play good classical music and non-profit contractor rating organization.

Net Zero is dead in the US. Net Zero isn't even real. If people understood was net zero is (and what it isn't), they'd laugh so hard that they wake up from the delusion of a climate crisis. And just to help the talking heads, it's not what the government thinks we'll appreciate, we let the government know what they need to do, and if they won't do it, we vote them out. Governments work for the people, not vice-versa.

@estevezsce9999 TDS is apparently incurable.

@forevertoons9022 I've never seen anything like this in the White House. Trump has set the bar for future presidents to get things done quickly and also for his commitments to make things better for Americans. He may be rough around the edges, but he's the person America needed at this time in history.

The Democrat bench is pretty bare. Maybe they can run Nancy Pelosi.

@AlunThomas-mp5qo Yes, but she's made a pact with the Devil so as long as she stays on Satan's good side, she'll be allowed to walk the earth.

He's not, but we cannot ignore what he's been accused of.

@johnmartin7158 No he's not happy at all. He knows his time is up, especially what he did to hide horrific crimes. Elon is tracking him down like a bloodhound. Kid Rock is one of many acts, BTW. It includes many top-line acts.

@ Starmer's boss is Putin? That would explain a lot.

@ Accurate though.

@ The US has had many many many good days since the election.

The weird part is we didn't keep accurate temperature readings really until about 1950/1960. But taking them at their word, essentially a temperature of 13.1C (or roughly 55F) is cause for alarm.
1
Starmer has a lot of horrific baggage in his background; it would be embarrassing to have him come to the United States.

@johnkitching2248 It will get done this time. We have child-like Democrats who were printing money and they devalued our currency by 25-30% and they actually wanted country to be overrun by illeglas.. Now that the children were put back in their cribs, the wall will get built.
1
Actually with Starmer we consider the UK unreliable. You're jailing your own people for posting online or making comments about the illegals flooding into your country. And there are strong indications that Starmer told Zelinsky to stand strong against Trump. And let's be real here for a second... the west committed to no expansion of NATO eastward, which we promptly ignored. And Putin was clear that if we tried to make Ukraine a NATO country he would invade Ukraine. So yes, the west provoked the invasion.
