@michaedove3562 Great news about BLM co-founder Patrisse Cullors. She just erected a fence and electric gate around her new $1.4M home. Sounds like she doesn't want any BLM and Antifa protestors interfering with her lifestyle.

The basic facts are that the people who were killed and injured attacked Rittenhouse first with apparently deadly intent. Stop. End of sentence. The prosecution did not dispute this. The witnesses did not dispute this. One of the men shot did not dispute this (he admitted he was trying to kill Rittenhouse). You should also do a lookup of the heinous things "JoJo" did to children before you declare him a hero.

@michaedove3562 Well, again, let's stick to the facts. Rittenhouse did retreat. But the three criminals chasing him kept coming They were unhappy that he put out the fires that they were trying to use burn the city, so they came after him. But apparently you're have the same opinion as the prosecutor that "sometimes you take a beating".

@mpjstuff Marc, seriously, the real answer is to have the police take control of the situation to ensure that peaceful protests take place. Had the Mayor and Governor insisted on the national guard taking control and assist the protestors to protest peacefully, this would have been avoided. Save your ire for the cowardly politicians.

@Ryooken " they should not have been allowed to refer to them as rioters and or looters or arsonists" Well, when you have video of JoJo setting fires to dumpsters, and crowd setting fires and destroying cars, you don't really need to refer to them as anything. The jury gets that by watching what they were doing. That said, whatever you call them, legally rittenhouse met the standard of self defense. He did not start any altercation, he retreated when attacked, and the people he shot were using deadly force to stop him. The jury did not get to see the criminal records of the three guys shot, but you should sit back and look into that to give you a better understanding these were most assuredly not people of good character.
