  3. You're supposed to learn how to read in 1st grade. Why did she think she could succeed in college if she couldn't even read the admission application? This further confirms that college is only useful for the top 30% of students. If you're not getting a science, engineering or business degree, you're wasting your money. Back in the day, parents wouldn't allow people to get the fake degrees that colleges now hand out like Halloween candy. I went back to school (night school) for a master's degree in engineering, and I asked one of the professors for a frank critique of my paper and she said "Are you sure you want the truth, because today students only want praise for their work, not criticism, in fact, when I don't give people 'A's I get a lot of complaints".
