Good government matters. Sometimes you've got to have hard men (and women) to make the call that you can't solve the world's problems, but if you focus on your own problems, you might actually make a difference to a lot of people.

@sugarkitty4777 OTOH, New Yorkers can't simultaneously say "yes, open the borders" and with the next breath continue "....as long as you keep them somewhere else. If New York is a sanctuary city, then live by your creed, but don't expect someone else to pay the freight for your conscience

@felipenunez2058 No, it's just because nobody wants to live in these sh*thole countries (especially venezuela with their gawdawful government) and the lure of free stuff from Democrats that we're having these problems. You act like this is an accident of policy. Actually Democrats policy is to encourage illegal infiltration of the border. We should take a page out of Eisenhower playbook on how he dealt with illegals. And of course go back to a merit-based immigration policy.
